Perth - About Us
A.N.F.E. Perth was established in 1963 to support the urgent
need of help for Italian Migrants upon their arrival to Western
Australia. As their needs changed, A.N.F.E. Perth has been
able to evolve and concentrate on organising social and cultural
events, particularly for our seniors.
Since 1967, A.N.F.E. has organised a "Festa Nataliza"
(Christmas Feast), which is primarily funded by charity events.
It is offered free of charge to our seniors as a way to thank
and recognise their contribution to our society. Just under
500 seniors join us for these activities.
A.N.F.E. House has been the centre for other
cultural activities such as tombola, briscola and movie evenings.
We are also endeavouring to organise social tours for our
seniors.
In the educational sector, A.N.F.E. offers annual scholarships
to students of Ialian at the Universities of Western Australia.
A.N.F.E. recognises the importance of encouraging and nuturing
people in their pursuit of knowledge about the Italian language
and culture.
