Social Support Group
The Social Support Group is a day care program for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds over the age of 65, including those with dementia (mild to moderate).
The Day Program offers service users in the Western Metropolitan areas of Adelaide the chance to enjoy a day out with others who share similar interests, language and culture.
Clients can choose to partake in activities such as:
-
gentle active ageing exercise
-
listening to music
-
playing games
-
prayer
-
information sharing and other activities.
Our clients are offered transport to and from our centre-based care venue, a two-course traditional Italian meal for lunch; morning and afternoon tea included as well.
VENUES FOR DAY PROGRAM:
Day program runs from 10.00am to 2.30 pm.
